Since there are few muscles around the spine, it is important to strengthen them.

Above all, pay attention to your posture at all times. Stand up straight and stretch (properly and without moderation).

The following sports are recommended: dancing, yoga, gymnastics, cycling, and, of course, swimming (but avoid the butterfly stroke). Even rock climbing is recommended for the more adventurous!

Sports that are not recommended: those that can cause vertebral compression, such as tennis or horse riding. In addition, when working your abdominal muscles, choose exercises that you know how to perform properly so as not to put unnecessary strain on your back.

Finally, we would like to remind you that after intensive exercise, rest is also part of a good training program for strengthening your back and preventing injuries. Therefore, don’t neglect the layout of your resting areas (for example, having a good mattress is essential) and choose an appropriate posture (e.g., on your sofa watching TV, sitting in front of your computer playing a video game, etc.).
